Help Desk/Desktop Support Analyst

Description

We are looking for a Help Desk/Desktop Support Analyst to support client implementations, user readiness, and training initiatives for software solutions. This long-term contract position is well suited for someone who can combine technical understanding with strong communication skills to guide users through setup, adoption, and day-to-day use. The role works closely with clients and internal teams to turn business needs into practical system configurations, training plans, and support resources.

Responsibilities:
Lead client onboarding activities by coordinating implementation tasks, evaluating interface preparedness, and helping ensure successful software adoption.
Facilitate engaging training sessions, webinars, and workshops that build user confidence and improve day-to-day system usage.
Review business workflows and operational needs, then recommend practical improvements that increase efficiency and system effectiveness.
Gather and organize functional and technical requirements for reports, forms, interfaces, configuration changes, and process updates.
Act as a communication bridge between customers and technical teams by translating system details into clear, user-friendly guidance.
Create and maintain documentation such as user instructions, reference guides, training materials, and best-practice resources for both clients and internal teams.
Monitor project timelines, open issues, milestone completion, and related administrative tasks to keep implementation efforts on track.
Partner with testing and quality teams to validate enhancements, support troubleshooting, and improve overall solution performance.
Communicate risks, blockers, scheduling concerns, and unexpected developments to stakeholders in a timely and thorough manner.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
At least 2 years of experience in software implementation, end-user support, consulting, training, or a related client-facing environment.
Demonstrated ability to present information clearly and deliver effective knowledge transfer to diverse user groups.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in accessible language.
Experience working with SaaS applications and supporting customers through adoption, troubleshooting, or deployment activities.
Practical technical knowledge of Microsoft SQL, IIS, and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
