Job Title: EDI Systems Support Analyst Data Center Operations & Maintenance
Location: Baltimore City, MD (Hybrid, One week per month onsite is required)
Position Overview
The client is seeking an experienced EDI Systems Support Analyst to support ongoing Operations & Maintenance (O&M) for enterprise data center systems, specifically EDITPS and related platforms.
This role is focused on ensuring continuous system availability, operational efficiency, stakeholder coordination, and technical support across diverse computing environments. The position is dynamic and requires flexibility to adapt to evolving priorities and business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Technical Support
- Provide ongoing operations and maintenance support for mission-critical systems
- Perform system analysis, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring
- Support data storage and retrieval systems across:
- Mainframes
- Minicomputers
- Distributed platforms
- Conduct hardware/software testing, installation, upgrades, and maintenance
- Manage system performance and coordinate with vendors and users
Documentation & Process Management
- Develop and maintain:
- User manuals
- Programmer maintenance manuals
- System design documentation
- Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Maintain system architecture documentation:
- Hardware
- Software
- Circuits
- Code structures
- Collect and maintain operational statistics and reports
Data & System Management
- Perform data migration between systems including:
- Data QA/QC
- Data cleansing
- Data conversion and transformation
- Administer:
- Configuration management programs
- Lifecycle management programs
- Software licensing and distribution
- Manage user access:
- User IDs
- Passwords
- Security keys
Infrastructure & Security
- Implement and maintain:
- Backup systems
- Disaster recovery processes
- Secure data center facilities
- Monitor networks for:
- Virus threats
- Unauthorized software
- Support migration between:
- State-owned facilities
- Commercial data centers
User & Training Support
- Provide:
- Helpdesk and phone support
- Personalized user assistance
- Technical training
- Develop system requirements and special applications as needed
Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor s degree in:
- Computer Science
- Networking
- Or related technical discipline
General Experience
- Minimum 3 years of relevant IT systems support experience
Specialized Experience (Highly Preferred)
- EDI transaction processing in Banking domain
- OCR (Optical Character Recognition) technologies
- AI/ML models for:
- Third Party Liability (TPL) Lead Letters
- Claims processing systems
- Workflow Management platforms
