Director of Consulting
About the Role
We are currently seeking a Director of Consulting to lead and scale our client’s fast-growing consulting organization. In this role, you’ll own the performance, quality, and growth of our client’s consulting services — managing delivery excellence, customer satisfaction, and business profitability. You’ll act as the general manager of the practice, building the strategy, systems, and leadership needed to deliver impactful results for our global enterprise and mid-market customers.

This is a primarily remote role with some anticipated travel expected.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of consulting and implementation services, ensuring excellence in execution, profitability, and customer experience.
- Build and scale delivery processes, PMO governance, and organizational structure to support strong growth without compromising quality.
- Drive services margin performance, utilization, and delivery predictability across all engagements.
- Partner with executive leadership on forecasting, workforce planning, and delivery strategy.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, expanding relationships through consultative insight and consistent delivery success.
- Mentor and develop consulting leaders and teams to create a culture of clarity, accountability, and performance.

What You’ll Bring - Proven Consulting Leadership: Experience running a for-profit, external consulting business with accountability for margins, utilization, and delivery outcomes.
- Enterprise Delivery Expertise: Successful track record leading complex, multi-workstream enterprise implementations at scale.
- Decisive Leadership: Confidence to set direction, make trade-offs, and lead in a matrixed environment without heavy support infrastructure.
Bonus Points - Background in software implementation or SaaS delivery environments
- Experience scaling consulting teams through rapid growth (30–50+ team members)
- Ownership of PMO and delivery operating model maturity
- Familiarity with food, beverage, or other regulated industries
