Randstad is seeking a strategic and highly analytical Power Platform Architect to join a premier client in the Washington, DC area. In this critical role, you will serve as the technical guardian of our low-code ecosystem, moving beyond simple app creation to ensure the entire platform is secure, scalable, and resilient. You will be responsible for auditing complex configurations, identifying structural risks, and implementing architectural improvements that streamline operations. This position is ideal for a proactive problem-solver who excels at bridging the gap between high-level governance and deep technical optimization within the Microsoft stack.

responsibilities:
Architectural Oversight: Conduct comprehensive reviews of Power Platform configurations and tenant-level architecture to identify and implement structural optimizations.
Flow & Dependency Analysis: Audit complex Power Automate flows and their associated dependencies to ensure logic integrity and operational efficiency.
Security & Access Management: Assess data connectors, credential handling, and access patterns to enforce least-privileged access and data loss prevention (DLP) policies.
Environment Governance: Validate environment placement strategies, ownership structures, and overall supportability to maintain a clean and manageable ecosystem.
Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify potential failure points and stability risks within existing solutions, providing technical remediation plans to ensure high availability.
qualifications:
Platform Expertise: Proven experience designing and managing enterprise-grade Power Platform environments (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
Technical Audit Skills: Strong ability to "look under the hood" of existing solutions to find inefficiencies or security gaps.
Governance Knowledge: Deep understanding of Microsoft 365 security models, environment routing, and Dataverse administration.
Stability Focus: Experience in error handling, flow optimization, and troubleshooting complex integration points.
Communication: Ability to translate technical architectural risks into actionable business insights for stakeholders in the DC market.
