Overview

The Analytics & Insights team is the intelligence engine for Membership and Deposit Products Strategy. We partner closely with Product Management and Product Strategy teams to ensure decisions are grounded in trusted data, behavioral insights, and a deep understanding of our members. Our role is to turn complexity into clarity, transforming rich data into insights that guide strategy, innovation, and investment decisions. By connecting product and cross-channel data, we inform where, when, and how members engage, enabling smarter, more personalized experiences and stronger business outcomes.

Oversees Analytics & Insights Business Intelligence team responsible for delivering high-impact and actionable insights for the enterprise. Develops strategic priorities, sets standards for reporting and analytics, and ensures alignment with corporate initiatives and goals. Provides deep functional expertise and leads solutions for advanced analytical solutions and strategic business decisions.

Responsibilities
  • Coach team on cutting-edge BI methods and foster a culture of experimentation and curiosity
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to define strategic objectives, establish key performance indicators (KPIs), and prioritize projects that deliver actionable insights to the organization
  • Serve as a strategic analytics partner to Product Strategy & Marketing and Product Management, delivering insights across campaign and test-and-learn measurement, lifecycle analytics, targeting and segmentation, and product adoption, value, and performance analytics to inform prioritization and decision-making.
  • Communicate complex data-driven insights in a clear and concise manner to diverse audiences, fostering understanding and buy-in from stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong ability to implement a data-driven culture, encouraging team members and stakeholders to utilize BI insights in decision-making
  • In-depth knowledge of BI tools and technologies (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SQL, DataBricks) to guide team methodologies and practices
  • Review code and analyses to ensure accuracy, scalability, and alignment
  • Research, evaluate, and integrate new BI technologies and methodologies to enhance the team's capabilities and drive innovation
  • Skill in establishing and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of BI initiatives and team performance
  • Lead experimentation and test-and-learn measurement, including test design, success metrics, interpretation of results, and iteration on insights to drive continuous improvement across products and campaigns.
  • Strong ability to manage BI team, ensuring alignment and cohesion in achieving objectives
  • Expertise in managing projects from conception to execution, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets
  • Ability to analyze diverse data and identify trends to inform decision-making and strategic planning
  • Own executive-ready storytelling and decision support, synthesizing complex data and insights into clear, concise recommendations that highlight implications, risks, and tradeoffs for senior leadership
  • Flexibility to adapt strategies and processes in response to evolving business conditions or challenges
  • Commitment to fostering team growth through training, feedback, and recognizing achievements

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent combination of training, education and experience
  • College/university degree and 7+ years work experience; 3+ years of management experience
  • Strong ability to implement a data-driven culture, encouraging team members and stakeholders to utilize BI insights in decision-making
  • In-depth knowledge of BI tools and technologies (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SQL) to guide team methodologies and practices
  • Strong presentation skills for conveying complex data insights to non-technical audiences and influencing strategic decisions
  • Skill in establishing and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of BI initiatives and team performance
  • Strong ability to manage BI team, ensuring alignment and cohesion in achieving objectives
  • Expertise in managing projects from conception to execution, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets
  • Ability to analyze diverse data and identify trends to inform decision-making and strategic planning
  • Excellent communication skills, able to convey complex ideas and strategies to various audiences
  • Flexibility to adapt strategies and processes in response to evolving business conditions or challenges
