VB.NET Developer (Oracle PL/SQL / WCF)

Trigyn's direct government client has an immediate need for a VB.NET Developer in Albany, NY.

Description:
? Work independently on requirements gathering, analysis, documenting logical design and functional design.
? Perform intricate VB.Net development and deployment.
? Oracle PL/SQL programming.
? Maintain system currency and compliance with ITS standards, hardware, software and security practices.
? Perform unit testing and correct all identified bugs.
? System troubleshooting and maintenance.
? Process Help Desk tickets and service requests for its 1200 users statewide.
? Coordinate and assist Cognos team with report requests.

Mandatory Qualification:
? Develops and implements applications and programs for the backend processing systems used in businesses and organizations.
? Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.

? 84 months experience developing N-Tier .NET web applications utilizing VB.Net and/or C# 2.0 or above.
? 84 months experience with relational database design & deployment of sophisticated SQL objects, writing PL/SQL writing packages, XML type stored procedures and triggers, all in an Oracle environment.
? 84 months experience writing and developing Web Services or Windows Communication Foundation (WCF).
? 84 months packaging, coordinating and deploying code base through environments including production.
? 84 months experience working directly with customers to identify their business processes, rules, and understand application user requirements and issues.
? 84 months experience utilizing jQuery.
? 84 months experience with Team Foundation Server.
? 84 months experience in writing test plans & cases and performing unit testing & leading UAT testing.
? Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science or Computer Programming.
