Cloud Solutions Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Cloud Solutions Engineer in Greenwood Village, CO.

Responsibilities:
* Cloud Solutions Engineer will deliver administration, maintenance, and ongoing support of the shared cloud environment
* Build, configure, tune, and implement automation for cloud lifecycle and operational improvement
* Support of the web interface used by customers to access their cloud environment
* Responsible for evaluation, development, implementation, optimization, performance and configuration of customer cloud environments
* Expected to establish and maintain proficiency on emerging technologies through self-study and on-the-job training
* Escalate issues and defects as necessary
* Work directly with escalation teams (development, network, or engineering) until incidents are fully resolved
* As a Cloud Solutions Engineer, you will provide routine communication with customers on progress, status, and root cause
* Support customers with DNS, IP, and firewall issues regarding Cloud environment
* Work directly with architects to help reproduce and resolve customer issues

REQUIREMENTS:
* 4-7 years of experience
* Solid networking experience and troubleshooting; UNIX systems and automation
* Experience working with integration scripting technologies
* Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, or Terraform for infrastructure as code
* Experience using Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud
* Knowledge of industry standards and standards organizations (e.g., ITIL, TOGAF, PMP)
* Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation tasks
* Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, software application, and design
* Systems knowledge (Linux, Unix)
* Basic Knowledge in TCP/IP and the OSI Model
* Expert knowledge in using ticketing and software tools to support the current operations
* Expert knowledge of software designing software, such as LucidChart or Visio
* Strong understanding of all virtualization types; OS and database administration
* Deep understanding of cloud computing technologies, applications, and trends
* Understand of design principles around networking, storage, and servers
* Good understanding of API and tools
* Expertise in the design and operation of medium to large scale enterprise or cloud infrastructure, databases, and application systems
* Expertise in data infrastructure
* Passion for cloud software, tooling, and automation; Comfort with command line tools and scripting
* Ability to work in a team environment
* Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
* Ability to perform duties in a fast paced environment and ability to learn new technology quickly

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
