Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with a strong background in Java MicroServices Development to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Banking Trading terminology and will work closely with the Product Owner (PO) to deliver high-quality solutions. This role requires the ability to step into a Scrum Master (SM) position when necessary and to manage projects effectively as a Technical Project Manager. A solid understanding of Agile methodologies and relevant technologies is essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Utilize strong Java MicroServices Development skills to contribute to the design and implementation of technical solutions.
- Work closely with the Product Owner to prioritize and refine the product backlog, ensuring clarity and feasibility of requirements.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and understanding.
- Play the role of Scrum Master when required, guiding the team in Agile practices and ensuring adherence to Scrum principles.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.
- Conduct regular project status meetings, providing updates to stakeholders and addressing any issues that arise.
- Stay current with industry trends and technologies, applying this knowledge to improve project outcomes.
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Java MicroServices Development.
- In-depth knowledge of Banking Trading terminology and processes.
- Experience working with Product Owners to define and prioritize project requirements.
- Proven ability to act as a Scrum Master, facilitating Agile ceremonies and promoting Agile best practices.
- Demonstrated experience in managing projects as a Technical Project Manager.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and frameworks.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with additional programming languages and technologies relevant to the banking and trading sector.
- Knowledge of project management tools and software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Master, PMI-ACP) are a plus.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and project management principles.
