PeopleSoft Financials (FSCM)

• The consultant would continue to work closely with our existing FSCM team, with the primary focus being Grants, Project Costing, Billing, and Accounts Receivable. We are looking for someone who can come in, understand our current environment quickly, and provide both hands-on PeopleSoft expertise and knowledge transfer to the team.

Our immediate goal is to perform the following SOW around Grants:

• Current State Discovery: Conduct discovery meetings to understand DPS and statewide issues with Grants setup and tracking, review the current Grants configuration, and determine what reports are currently being used and what additional reporting is needed.
• Job Aid Revisions: Update existing documentation to reflect current functionality, including screenshots from the most recent PeopleSoft version. Create/revise queries used to manage Grants and incorporate those queries into the documentation. Also provide the applicable PeopleSoft-delivered Grants reports.
• Virtual Training: Develop and conduct Grants training for our staff based on the findings and updated functionality/documentation.
• For the first 30 60 days, success would be measured by how quickly the consultant can get up to speed, complete the current-state discovery, identify gaps or issues with our Grants processes and reporting, begin updating our documentation and queries, and ultimately provide meaningful training and knowledge transfer to the team.
• The technical requirements in the posting remain important. Given our previous experience, however, we will be deliberate in vetting candidates to make sure they have the actual hands-on PeopleSoft FSCM/Grants experience necessary to execute this work rather than simply having the modules listed on their resume.
  What we need (non-negotiable): Extensive PeopleSoft Financials (FSCM) 9.2 background (10+ years) Experience configuring, maintaining, standardizing, and supporting the following PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 modules: Grants (GM), Accounts Receivable (AR), Project Costing (PC), Billing (BI) Strong governmental accounting knowledge Understanding of Federal Grants Solid understanding of PeopleSoft FSCM module integration and PeopleSoft HCM Project Costing and Grants integrations Solid understanding of the software change management process, including testing, scripting, and documentation Experience with Peoplesoft PUM updates, analyzing and implementing new module functionality Training experience Excellent troubleshooting skills Technical Skills Proficient in SQL, Query Manager, Reporting
