Overview
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support large-scale system transformation initiatives and business process improvements. This role will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders, IT teams, and technology partners to analyze current processes, define future-state solutions, and drive successful system implementations.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and document current-state (“AS IS”) business processes and define future-state (“TO BE”) solutions
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, refine, and translate requirements into detailed functional specifications
- Partner with IT and technical teams to convert functional requirements into technical solutions
- Develop and document acceptance criteria, test cases, and validation processes
- Lead and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure alignment with business requirements
- Perform system testing and provide feedback on defects, enhancements, and usability improvements
- Create and maintain regression testing documentation and support QA automation efforts
- Configure systems and manage master data to support business operations
- Assist with data migration activities from legacy systems to new platforms
- Deliver training, demos, and documentation to ensure successful adoption of new systems
- Support change management efforts to ensure smooth transitions to production environments
- Troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, and recommend solutions
- Mentor and support junior Business Analysts as needed
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting enterprise systems or transformation initiatives
- Strong experience with business process analysis, requirements gathering, and documentation
- Experience working within cross-functional teams in a project-based environment
- Knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and testing methodologies
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
- Experience with financial systems, trading systems, or enterprise platforms
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Experience with data migration, system integration, or reporting tools
- Background in finance, accounting, or operations environments
