Overview

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support large-scale system transformation initiatives and business process improvements. This role will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders, IT teams, and technology partners to analyze current processes, define future-state solutions, and drive successful system implementations.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and document current-state (“AS IS”) business processes and define future-state (“TO BE”) solutions
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, refine, and translate requirements into detailed functional specifications
  • Partner with IT and technical teams to convert functional requirements into technical solutions
  • Develop and document acceptance criteria, test cases, and validation processes
  • Lead and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure alignment with business requirements
  • Perform system testing and provide feedback on defects, enhancements, and usability improvements
  • Create and maintain regression testing documentation and support QA automation efforts
  • Configure systems and manage master data to support business operations
  • Assist with data migration activities from legacy systems to new platforms
  • Deliver training, demos, and documentation to ensure successful adoption of new systems
  • Support change management efforts to ensure smooth transitions to production environments
  • Troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, and recommend solutions
  • Mentor and support junior Business Analysts as needed

 

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting enterprise systems or transformation initiatives
  • Strong experience with business process analysis, requirements gathering, and documentation
  • Experience working within cross-functional teams in a project-based environment
  • Knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and testing methodologies
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

  • Experience with financial systems, trading systems, or enterprise platforms
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies
  • Experience with data migration, system integration, or reporting tools
  • Background in finance, accounting, or operations environments
