Overview
Our client is a
large, integrated academic healthcare system in New England, comprised of multiple hospitals, specialty centers, and physician practices. The organization supports complex clinical, financial, and operational environments and relies heavily on Epic for enterprise reporting and analytics.
They are seeking a highly skilled
BI Developer / Report Writer with deep expertise in
Epic Clarity and Caboodle, specifically supporting
Revenue Cycle - Patient Billing. This individual will play a hands-on role in developing, optimizing, and translating reporting logic across Epic data models to support enterprise-wide analytics and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize reports and dashboards using Epic Clarity and Caboodle
- Analyze existing Clarity queries and determine the most effective approach to replicate logic in Caboodle, including:
- Single Caboodle queries
- Caboodle expansions
- Use of legacy Caboodle dbo structures when appropriate
- Partner with revenue cycle stakeholders to support patient billing analytics and reporting
- Support and enhance ETL architecture, including downstream data availability and performance
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries to support reporting and analytics initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Epic Certifications:
- Clarity
- Caboodle (Development and/or Admin)
- Cogito Systems
- Epic Experience:
- 2+ years working with the Epic data model, including Clarity and Caboodle
- Technical Skills:
- 5+ years of advanced SQL experience
- Experience with ETL architecture and SSIS
- Strong understanding of Revenue Cycle / Patient Billing workflows and data concepts
- Hands-on, self-directed, and comfortable working in a fully remote environment
