DescriptionThe Systems Application Administrator will support and maintain the organization's Electronic Health Record (EHR) system (CareLogic), which is critical to clinical operations and revenue generation. This role is responsible for application configuration, user support, troubleshooting, reporting, and ongoing system optimization.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing day-to-day EHR system administration and configuration
- Supporting a user base of ~600 (employees and contractors)
- Triaging and resolving application-related support tickets
- Interpreting user needs and determining appropriate system/reporting solutions
- Maintaining compliance with HIPAA, PHI, and security/access control standards
- Supporting billing workflows, including Medicaid claim processing and integrations
- Generating reports and dashboards using built-in tools
- Reviewing system updates and proactively assessing impact to end users
- Managing change control processes, including stakeholder approvals
- Assisting with documentation, policies, and procedures
- Acting as a liaison between IT and operational teams to ensure system adoption and effectiveness
- Administer, monitor, and support enterprise applications for performance and uptime
- Manage user access, roles, and permissions for onboarding and offboarding
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in collaboration with users, vendors, and internal teams
- Configure application changes following change control processes
- Maintain and develop system documentation, workflows, and procedures
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and organizational security policies
- Create and maintain training materials for end users
- Support reporting needs, including creation and maintenance of custom reports
- Perform system maintenance activities such as updates, patches, and configuration changes
Additional Skills & QualificationsKey qualifications:
- 5+ years' experience supporting EHR or enterprise applications
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance (HIPAA/PHI)
- Strong troubleshooting and customer support mindset
- Familiarity with Medicaid billing workflows or similar systems
