We are looking for Technical Specialist - Junior - Remote / Telecommute for our client in Raleigh, NC

Job Title: Technical Specialist - Junior - Remote / Telecommute

Job Type: Contract

Job Overview:

Pay Range $75hr - $80hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Proven ServiceNow experience: 3+ years.
  • Web applications, networks, protocols and email (SMTP, POP3): 3+ years.
  • Basic understanding of ITIL v3 methodologies: 3+ years.
  • Understanding of enterprise IT architecture: 3+ years.
  • Working knowledge of relational databases: 3+ years.
  • Web Technologies (XML, HTML, JAVA Script, AJAX, CSS, HTTP, etc.): 3+ years.
  • Impeccable time-management and record keeping: 5+ years.
  • The ability to take complex end-user requirements to code: 5+ years.
  • A positive can-do attitude & willingness to learn: 5+ years.
  • A strong personal commitment to quality service: 5+ years.
  • The ability to work independently and with a team: 3+ years.
  • LDAP directories, such as: Active Directory, eDirectory, OpenLDAP: 3+ years.
  • Excellent communication: 5+ years.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage ServiceNow applications and modules, including form design, workflow creation, and custom scripting.
  • Customize ServiceNow modules and applications to fit the specific needs of the business, including incident management, change management, problem management, and more.
  • Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and other systems or platforms using web services, APIs, or other integration tools.
  • Identify and resolve issues with the ServiceNow platform, including debugging and troubleshooting problems with scripts, workflows, or integrations.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for ServiceNow configurations, customizations, and integrations.
  • Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and end-users to understand requirements and provide solutions that meet their needs.
  • Implement best practices for ServiceNow development and administration, including coding standards, testing procedures, and change management processes.
  • Participate in system upgrades and maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
