Project Manager/Sr. Consultant

Description

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager/Sr. Consultant to support a Contract engagement in Denver, Colorado within the hospitality industry. This role will guide a fast-paced technology initiative that requires strong coordination across business and technical teams, with a focus on keeping priorities organized, stakeholders informed, and deliverables on track. The ideal candidate brings a practical leadership style, strong communication skills, and the ability to move complex work forward with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities:
Direct the full project lifecycle for a time-sensitive technology initiative, from planning through execution and closeout.
Build and maintain project schedules, milestones, risk logs, and deliverable tracking to support timely completion.
Partner with teams across IT, facilities, accounting, development, fundraising, and other functions to maintain alignment on objectives and decisions.
Work closely with an external vendor to coordinate activities, confirm expectations, and monitor progress against agreed milestones.
Lead working sessions and status meetings, capture key outcomes, and maintain clear project records and supporting documentation.
Surface issues that could affect timing, scope, or delivery and present informed recommendations to leadership.
Keep stakeholders focused on agreed priorities by managing change requests and reducing unnecessary expansion of scope.
Provide consistent progress reporting to leadership and project participants, highlighting accomplishments, risks, and next steps.
Support the retirement and transition of an existing business application by coordinating requirements, dependencies, and readiness activities.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience managing IT or business technology projects from initiation through completion.
Demonstrated strength in project planning, organization, and coordination across multiple stakeholder groups.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to document decisions and project activity clearly.
Experience working with cross-functional teams as well as senior leaders or executive stakeholders.
Ability to operate independently, set priorities, and maintain momentum in a fast-moving environment.
Strong consulting and leadership capabilities, with a collaborative approach to problem-solving and decision support.
Familiarity with Agile Scrum practices, CRM-related projects, and broader IT project management methodologies.
PMP certification is preferred, and experience with application retirement, software transitions, or donor management platforms is a plus.
