Job Details
Key Responsibilities
Set up, start up, and optimize injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment
Adjust and dial in processing parameters including temperature, pressure, and cycle times
Troubleshoot molding defects such as short shots, flash, warping, and sink
Perform mold changes and support tool startups
Monitor production runs and make real-time adjustments to maintain quality standards
Work closely with maintenance and tooling teams to resolve mechanical or process issues
Document process changes and support continuous improvement efforts
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in injection molding processing
Strong understanding of scientific molding principles
Experience with mold setups, hot runners, and auxiliary equipment (dryers, grinders, chillers)
Ability to troubleshoot both process and basic mechanical issues
Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
