Position Overview
New York State ITS is seeking an experienced .NET Developer with extensive experience building client, web, and service-based applications using .NET technologies, Blazor, SQL Server, Microsoft Power Platform, Azure, and related technologies.
Required Qualifications
84 months of experience with .NET technologies, including ASP.NET, Model-View-Controller (MVC), Blazor, and REST services. This must include extensive development experience within the .NET ecosystem building client applications, web applications, and services.
84 months of experience with SQL Server database and application integration, including application performance tuning and integration of .NET/Blazor applications with Microsoft Power Platform solutions.
24 months of experience with a government taxation organization, including business knowledge, technical design, development, maintenance, and end-user support for complex tax-return processing.
60 months of cloud and server-management experience, including Azure services, Windows Server setup and configuration, IIS management, and management of X.509 and SSL certificates.
24 months of Microsoft Power Platform development experience, including Canvas applications, Power Automate flows, and custom connectors.
60 months of collaboration and version-control experience, including DevOps practices, GitHub source control, Jira project management, Agile development, and defect tracking.
