Overview

BlueWater Federal is looking for an Application Developer to support Dept of the Navy at the Pentagon

Responsibilities

Serve as principal web-based developer and provide primary design and functionality enhancements.
Provide Webmaster functions, updates to website content, reevaluation and enhancement of website functionality, verifying website links, and verifying compliance with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.
Analyze software upgrades and provide recommendations for implementation.
Assist with DoD/DON statutory and regulatory requirements for IT portfolio management in all life cycle stages.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field such as computer science, information systems, cybersecurity, or related technical discipline
Must have an active Secret clearance. ship is required.
2+ years of C# and/or Java development.
2+ years of experience developing and deploying applications and tools using ASP.NET C#, HTML5, JavaScript, Ajax, CSS, Java, Microsoft SQL, and XML; 2+ years of experience debugging and modifying existing applications in various programming languages.
2+ years of experience scanning applications with application security testing tools such as Fortify.
Security+ certification is required
Working knowledge of implementing Application Security and Development Security STIGs and DoD policies in systems/applications.
