About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled GenAI / AI Automation Engineer to join a team focused on transforming operational processes through intelligent automation. This role supports Commercial Banking and Corporate & Investment Banking initiatives by designing and implementing AI-driven solutions that automate customer service requests, document processing workflows, and operational case management.

The team is building next-generation agentic AI solutions that leverage Generative AI, Machine Learning, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) technologies to reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency. The overall program is focused on automating hundreds of customer request types that are currently handled through manual processes.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building real-world AI applications and can demonstrate hands-on experience delivering production-grade GenAI solutions.
What You'll Do

• Design, build, and deploy AI-powered applications using Generative AI and Machine Learning technologies.
• Develop agent-based automation solutions utilizing LangGraph, LangChain, Google ADK, and Python.
• Create and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems for enterprise workflows.
• Build Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) solutions to automate document ingestion, extraction, validation, and processing.
• Develop AI agents that identify customer intent, orchestrate workflows, gather required data, and automate operational tasks.
• Integrate AI solutions with enterprise systems using REST APIs and microservices.
• Implement document extraction capabilities including OCR, PDF parsing, entity extraction, validation rules, confidence scoring, and semantic matching.
• Collaborate with engineering and business teams to automate complex operational processes.
• Support AI governance, model evaluation, and responsible AI implementation standards.
• Build scalable and containerized AI services deployed within cloud-based environments.
• Contribute to ongoing enhancements of intelligent automation platforms supporting enterprise banking operations.

Required Qualifications
AI & Machine Learning

• 3+ years of experience developing Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Generative AI, or Intelligent Automation solutions.
• Strong hands-on experience designing and deploying production AI applications.
• Experience building AI agents and agentic workflows.

Python & AI Frameworks

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Python.
• Experience with:
  • LangGraph
  • LangChain
  • Google ADK
  • Agent-based architectures

Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)

• Strong experience designing and implementing RAG solutions.
• Experience integrating vector search, knowledge retrieval, and large language models into enterprise applications.

Intelligent Document Processing (IDP)

• 3+ years of experience implementing Document AI / Intelligent Document Processing solutions.
• Experience with:
  • OCR
  • PDF parsing
  • Data extraction
  • Confidence scoring
  • Rule-based validation
  • Semantic matching
  • Fuzzy comparison
  • API integration

Application Development

• Experience building and deploying:
  • LLM-powered applications
  • AI agents
  • Workflow automation platforms
  • Enterprise AI solutions

Integration & Data Technologies

• REST API development and integration experience.
• Experience working with distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
• Strong understanding of enterprise-scale application integration.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Java-based services and integrations.
• Experience supporting large-scale automation programs.
• Financial services experience is a plus, but not required.
• Experience from industries such as retail, healthcare, manufacturing, technology, or other sectors with large-scale process automation initiatives is welcome.
