Job Overview

The Senior Data Architect will design and implement enterprise-level data engineering and data architecture solutions to support the agency’s growing data ecosystem. This role focuses on data platform evaluation, enterprise data modeling, data integration, and analytics architecture.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement enterprise data architecture and data engineering solutions
Evaluate and recommend data platforms, analytics tools, and integration solutions
Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models supporting analytics and operational systems
Establish data modeling standards, naming conventions, and governance practices
Contribute to the development of the enterprise data architecture roadmap
Design scalable domain-driven data architecture aligned with enterprise data governance
Provide architectural guidance for reusable and interoperable data solutions
Lead discussions on data integration, platform configuration, optimization, and maintenance
Collaborate with enterprise teams to integrate agency systems with enterprise data lakes and analytics platforms
Provide technical leadership and guidance to the Data Management team
