RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Product Manager in New York, NY.

Overview:
We are working with a client seeking a Product Manager to lead the strategic vision, design, and deployment of specialized data assets built for the Private Credit sector. In this role, you will convert industry trends and stakeholder requirements into a tactical, high-value product roadmap and technical specifications that drive measurable business outcomes. This position is based in NYC, on-site 3-days a week and offers a robust bonus structure.

You will partner closely with internal cross-functional units across Engineering, Data Science, Corporate Strategy, UX Design, and Relationship Management to identify workflow bottlenecks, validate system architecture, and debut proprietary datasets. While your core responsibilities center on data modeling and information architecture, you may also oversee or assist with the digital client platforms and web applications.

You must have a proven track record of guiding user discovery sessions, authoring meticulous functional requirements, making difficult resource trade-offs, aligning stakeholders, and driving agile delivery. You will define and monitor core KPIs to guide future product enhancement phases, feature launches, and interface updates.

Core Responsibilities:
* Strategic Roadmap & Backlog Management: Define long-term functional strategy for our alternative lending data vertical; Establish milestones, quality targets, and success benchmarks; Coordinate engineering schedules
* Market Intelligence & User Discovery: Understand custom credit structures, private placement workflows, and alternative financing vehicles; Map out the functional needs of direct lenders, asset managers, institutional allocators, and fund administrators; Conduct ongoing client interviews

REQUIREMENTS:
* 7+ years of experience overseeing software or data-driven products inside the financial technology or financial services industries
* Advanced understanding of private lending workflows, capital structures, and alternative credit operational cycles
* Strong proficiency with database schemas and data modeling methodologies specific to alternative asset classes
* Demonstrated track record of leading cross-functional development sprints within an agile framework
* High comfort level collaborating alongside software developers, database architects, and QA engineers
* Familiarity with the practical application and deployment advantages of machine learning or artificial intelligence models
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical partners

Preferred Attributes:
* Past success developing and commercializing proprietary institutional credit intelligence
* Direct exposure to natural language processing pipelines or automated data extraction and enrichment tools
* A professional background that bridges back-end data engineering architecture with front-end user interfaces
* Familiarity with user-centric design principles and digital wireframing/prototyping
