  • Create clear documentation for implemented features as well as approaches that were evaluated and rejected.
  • Transfer knowledge effectively to and from teammates.
  • Work from requirements, documents or storyboards.
  • Architect software in a modular fashion to support scalable and reusable features.
  • Build, debug, and deploy next-generation XR and traditional applications for Windows and Android using the Unity game engine and C#.
  • Review peer pull requests (PRs).
  • Apply software engineering best practices to write elegant, maintainable, and reusable code.
  • Unit test code for robustness and reliability.

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Master's degree or higher is a plus.
  • 5+ years of real-world experience developing and shipping Unity-based applications or video games.
  • Proven track record of onboarding onto a mature codebase and delivering meaningful production contributions.
  • Experience developing for XR technologies and devices such as Meta Quest, HoloLens, and Apple Vision Pro. (Strong Unity developers with little or no XR experience will also be considered.
  • Strong knowledge of 3D mathematics.
  • Strong knowledge of C#, object-oriented programming (OOP) principles, software design patterns, and software architecture.
  • Ability to self-test, debug, and verify work before handing it off to QA.
  • Strong experience using Git for source control, branching strategies, and pull requests.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.

Bonus Qualifications
