RESPONSIBILITIES:
A Kforce client is seeking a motivated and skilled IT Support Tech to support operations at a Lewisberry, PA fulfillment center. This contract role is critical to maintaining IT systems and ensuring smooth, reliable operations within a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
* Technical Support: Diagnose and resolve application, hardware, and network issues to minimize operational disruption
* Customer Engagement: Interact with end users to provide clear, effective solutions while promoting a positive support experience
*Help Desk Support: Document, analyze, and resolve help desk tickets efficiently, ensuring accurate tracking of all support activities.
* Collaboration: Partner with on-site and remote IT teams, as well as operations leadership, to deliver timely and high-quality IT solutions
REQUIREMENTS:
* Proven experience supporting PCs in a Windows Active Directory environment
* Hands-on experience with PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment, and asset disposition
* Experience with Microsoft administration, mobile device management, and RF technologies
* Working knowledge of DNS, DHCP, HTTP, SSL, and TCP/IP
* Strong troubleshooting skills in a fast-paced, multi-user environment
* Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work effectively with peers, leadership, vendors, and contractors
* Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and with limited supervision
* Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
* Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
* Ability to participate in on-call and 24/7 support rotations
* Ability to stand or walk 6-8 hours per day and lift up to 50 pounds, with or without accommodation
* Willingness to travel up to 10% and work night shifts as required
Bonus Qualifications:
* A+ and/or Network+ certification
* Prior IT support experience in a fulfillment or warehouse environment
* Experience working in an SLA-driven support environment
* Hands-on experience with Motorola/Zebra RF devices (e.g., MC9190, VC6090, WT41N0, or similar)
* Experience with data cabling, computer facilities maintenance, and vendor management
* Ability to lead high-priority IT projects
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
