Basic Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant experience OR 2+ years with a related technical degree

• Experience working with hand tools

• Ability to work fully onsite

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

About the Role

• We're seeking a hands-on Mechanical Test Technician to join our Instrumentation & Test team. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with engineers, technicians, and cross-functional groups to support vibration testing, instrumentation setup, and data collection for a variety of mechanical and aerospace-related systems.

• This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, takes ownership of their work, communicates clearly, and thrives in a collaborative engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct vibration testing on mechanical parts and subsystems using electrodynamic shaker tables

• Perform hands-on test setup and instrumentation, including mounting units and installing accelerometers

• Participate in tabletop reviews

• Postprocess test data and provide input for test reports

• Support test equipment maintenance and ensure a clean, organized work environment

• Collaborate closely with engineering and manufacturing teams across Mechanical, Electrical, Energetics, Integration & Test, and Quality disciplines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with environmental or vibration testing

• Familiarity with instrumentation and data logging equipment

• Experience in an aerospace or defense environment

• Experience with pneumatic and/or ordnance testing

• Active Secret clearance

• Experience with Siemens NX for part/assembly modeling

• Experience using Teamcenter
