Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Lead Network Administrator to support a large-scale infrastructure and network deployment initiative tied to a multi-location integration project. This individual will play a key role in leading and supporting a small team responsible for configuring, staging, testing, documenting, and shipping network/security equipment to remote locations nationwide.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a blend of network engineering, implementation work, operational support, and team leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support a small technical team responsible for network equipment setup, staging, and deployment activities
• Configure, test, and validate network security devices, including Fortinet firewalls, utilizing implementation scripts and standardized deployment procedures
• Prepare, label, asset tag, and document equipment prior to shipment
• Coordinate and manage shipping logistics for deployments to remote sites
• Support remote site migrations to new network/security infrastructure
• Troubleshoot network connectivity and firewall-related issues during implementation and cutover activities
• Maintain accurate configuration documentation, asset inventories, network diagrams, and deployment tracking records
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams, project stakeholders, and remote site personnel to ensure successful implementations
• Assist with ongoing operational and network support activities as needed

Required Qualifications

• Experience working in a Network Administrator, Network Engineer, or similar infrastructure support role
• Experience supporting large-scale hardware rollouts, infrastructure refreshes, or multi-site implementations
• Hands-on experience configuring and maintaining Fortinet firewalls
• Experience utilizing scripting or automated deployment methods for firewall configuration preferred
• Strong understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, routing, switching, and network troubleshooting
• Experience supporting remote site deployments or migrations
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment

• Experience with asset management and deployment logistics
• Prior experience leading or mentoring small technical teams

• This role will involve hands-on equipment staging, deployment coordination, and support for remote implementations
• Occasional shipping/logistics coordination responsibilities may be required
• Fast-paced environment supporting ongoing infrastructure integration efforts

Estimated Min Rate: $35.00
Estimated Max Rate: $50.00
