Service Desk Technician IIIPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Service Desk Technician III to support and enhance desktop environments while helping implement automation and new technologies. This role requires strong troubleshooting expertise, excellent customer support skills, and the ability to streamline IT processes for optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities- Provide advanced desktop support and services in a high-volume environment
- Manage and support Active Directory, including user authentication, authorization, and identity/access management
- Troubleshoot technical issues using a structured, analytical approach
- Automate and streamline processes using scripting and innovative solutions
- Deliver high-quality customer service and ensure user satisfaction
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues using tools such as PING, NSLOOKUP, and NETSTAT
- Support and administer SCCM (or similar tools), including mentoring others on usage
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation and system management
- Support data auditing and cleanup initiatives (e.g., file systems, permissions, directories)
- Learn and adapt to new tools and technologies as needed
Required Qualifications- 10+ years of troubleshooting experience
- 5+ years of experience with Active Directory (including ADUC and related tools)
- 4+ years of experience with SCCM or similar systems (e.g., SMS)
- 4+ years of customer service experience in a technical environment
- 4+ years of networking experience, including DHCP, DNS, and diagnostic tools
Preferred Qualifications- CompTIA A+ (or related certifications)
- Microsoft certifications
- Experience with PowerShell scripting (version 3.0 or higher)

- ServiceNow (or similar ticketing systems)
- Networking fundamentals and troubleshooting

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.50/hr.
