Description: Our client is currently seeking a Data Product Engineer

Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead workshops, demos, onboarding sessions, and cross-domain engagements to drive adoption of an enterprise data marketplace platform.
  • Serve as the primary technical presenter for platform capabilities across domain and stakeholder groups.
  • Partner with domain owners to understand, refine, and articulate their data product offerings and how they fit within the broader ecosystem.
  • Configure, maintain, and enhance demo environments showcasing platform features and data product capabilities.
  • Support lightweight development, proof-of-concept builds, and sample integrations to highlight platform functionality.
  • Translate technical concepts into clear, business-friendly narratives tailored for non-technical audiences.
  • Gather structured feedback from domain teams, synthesize themes, and collaborate with product/engineering teams to influence roadmap decisions.
  • Develop training materials, enablement assets, playbooks, and repeatable demos to accelerate platform adoption.
  • Advocate for domain teams by ensuring their data product challenges, needs, and opportunities are represented in ongoing platform planning.
  • Support ongoing adoption efforts including office hours, community sessions, and cross-domain knowledge-sharing initiatives.


Must Have / Required:
  • Experience in data engineering, platform engineering, solution engineering, technical consulting, or similar roles.
  • Strong understanding of data products, data modeling, data APIs, enterprise integrations, and metadata-driven architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform) and data pipelines/integration tooling.
  • Familiarity with REST/GraphQL APIs, event-driven workflows, and data ingestion patterns.
  • Experience configuring demonstrations, building proof-of-concepts, or developing sample applications for platform enablement.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with ability to translate technical concepts to business audiences.
  • Experience facilitating workshops, demos, technical onboarding, or platform adoption activities.
  • Ability to collaborate with engineering, product, and business stakeholders across multiple domains.
  • Background in solution architecture, sales engineering, or customer engineering is a strong plus.
  • Knowledge of data marketplaces, data mesh, governance frameworks, or product-focused data ecosystems.
  • Strong storytelling capabilities when articulating data product value and domain capabilities.
