Flutter Mobile Full Stack Developer
The ideal candidate has strong experience building offline-first mobile applications, is comfortable working across the mobile frontend, backend services, REST APIs, and Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure, and collaborates closely with product, design, and QA teams to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Mobile Application Development
- Design and develop Android-first mobile applications using Flutter (Dart); iOS experience is a plus.
- Build responsive, high-performance UI components following Material Design principles.
- Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party SDKs.
- Design and implement offline-first functionality, including local persistence, background sync, and data conflict resolution.
- Ensure application performance, security, scalability, and reliability in low or intermittent network conditions.
- Support internal distribution, testing, and deployment of mobile applications as per project requirements (no public app store publishing required).
Backend & Full-Stack Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs.
- Work with Node.js / Java / Python / .NET (any one or more, depending on stack).
- Develop RESTful APIs.
- Handle authentication, authorization, and role-based access control.
- Manage databases (SQL/NoSQL) such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Firebase.
Cloud & DevOps (Azure-Focused)
- Design, deploy, and manage backend services and applications using Microsoft Azure.
- Work with Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Storage Accounts, and related services.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
- Ensure cloud security, scalability, reliability, and cost optimization.
Collaboration & Best Practices
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product managers, and QA engineers.
- Write clear, maintainable, and testable code.
- Perform code reviews and follow secure coding standards.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in mobile application development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Flutter and Dart.
- Strong experience building Android applications; iOS experience is nice to have.
- Mandatory experience designing and implementing offline-first mobile applications, including local storage, background synchronization, and conflict resolution.
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Solid understanding of mobile app architecture (MVC, MVVM, Clean Architecture).
- Experience with backend development and database design.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA, including data encryption and secure handling of sensitive information.
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD workflows.
- Knowledge of mobile and cloud security best practices.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Push Notifications).
- Knowledge of state management solutions (Redux etc.).
- Experience with offline storage and synchronization.
- Exposure to healthcare, fintech, or enterprise-grade applications.
- Experience writing unit, widget, and integration tests.
