Full Stack Engineer Back End

Job Summary The Full Stack Engineer (Back End) will be responsible for developing high-quality, scalable software solutions focused on backend systems and integrations. This role involves building API-driven applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and supporting modern integration platforms within payroll and HR systems. The position requires strong expertise in backend development, cloud technologies, and data-driven application design. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and integration solutions Build and implement API-based solutions using Java and Spring Boot Collaborate with business partners, architects, and technical teams to define requirements and system design Develop and unit test applications to ensure high-quality deliverables Drive complex technology solutions across multiple initiatives and teams Ensure alignment with architectural standards and product roadmaps Develop data models and support database development including stored procedures and ETL processes Contribute to system modernization and integration initiatives Share knowledge and best practices across teams to improve development standards Required Qualifications Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field 7+ years of hands-on software development experience Strong expertise in Object-Oriented Programming with Java Experience building API-based solutions using Java Spring Boot Strong knowledge of relational database design and data modeling Hands-on experience with Oracle databases, PL/SQL, and ETL tools Experience designing configurable, metadata-driven systems Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and matrix environments Preferred Qualifications Experience with payroll, HR systems, or enterprise integrations Experience working with external vendor integrations and API/file-based data exchange Experience supporting modernization initiatives in enterprise environments Education: Bachelors Degree
