This role focuses on the administration and support of enterprise-scale Tableau environments within Infrastructure Engineering. The engineer will support large Tableau deployments, maintain operational stability, troubleshoot platform issues, and contribute to infrastructure planning and optimization efforts. The ideal candidate will have deep Tableau Server administration experience, a strong Windows infrastructure background, and the ability to support environments serving tens of thousands of users.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support enterprise Tableau Server environments.
- Monitor, maintain, and optimize Tableau platform performance and availability.
- Support large-scale deployments serving 75,000+ users and large server infrastructures.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, application, and platform issues affecting Tableau services.
- Perform Tableau installation, upgrades, patching, configuration, and maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to resolve operational issues.
- Develop and maintain automation solutions using Python, PowerShell, and Ansible.
- Review infrastructure requirements and contribute to platform planning and capacity management.
- Ensure compliance with operational standards, policies, and enterprise governance requirements.
- Document configurations, procedures, and support activities.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 4+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education. 3-5 years of Tableau Administration experience is required.

- Windows Server administration
- Experience with large-scale deployments
- Experience with Python, PowerShell, and/or Ansible for automation and operational support
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience automating Tableau administration and operational tasks using Python, PowerShell, or Ansible.
- Experience managing enterprise analytics environments in regulated organizations.
- Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization experience for large-scale Tableau server deployments.
- Knowledge of infrastructure monitoring, high availability, and enterprise platform governance.
