Job Description
We are seeking a Software Development Engineer 3, Build and Release to join our Production Technology team supporting shared infrastructure and middleware for multiple titles. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in large-scale build systems, CI/CD, and content pipelines for game development and a proven ability to stabilize, optimize, and scale build and deployment workflows to ensure fast, reliable development cycles.
Top 3 hard skills:
1.CI/CD systems experience - Hands on experience building and/or working with CI/CD pipelines that support large scale software or game development (5-7 years).
2.Scalable infrastructure systems - Experience designing and supporting large scale infrastructure systems for enterprise or game development environments (5-7 years).
3.Programming & scripting languages - Strong experience with C# and PowerShell (both required), plus general scripting languages (5-7 years).
Responsibilities:
- Execute hands-on implementation across CI/CD systems and development pipelines to improve reliability and performance.
- Maintain and scale shared build infrastructure and middleware supporting multiple game titles.
- Diagnose, triage, and resolve build failures, pipeline bottlenecks, and integration issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support remote development workflows and content delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency with CI/CD tooling and scripting for large-scale build systems in game development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize build stability, speed, and scalability.
- Clear communication and teamwork abilities to support cross-functional and partner engagements.
- Experience supporting production pipelines across multiple concurrent development schedules.
Preferred Skills:
- Background with large-scale game build systems and content pipeline tooling.
- Experience supporting external partners in remote or hybrid environments.

Role Logistics
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week. Overtime requires prior approval.
- Work model: Hybrid, 3 days onsite at Redmond Town Center B6.
- Equipment: Supplier-provided equipment and software.
- Assessment: Take-home assignment followed by two 45-minute rounds if advanced.
