KEY RESPONSIBILITIESDesign, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Python with Selenium WebDriver and/or PlaywrightCreate and execute automated test cases for functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and end-to-end (E2E) testingDevelop and execute API test automation using Python libraries such as requests, pytest, and httpxIntegrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps)Implement and enforce the Page Object Model (POM) design pattern for scalable and reusable test codePerform cross-browser and cross-platform testing to validate UI consistency and responsivenessIdentify, document, and track defects; work with developers to ensure timely resolutionConduct root-cause analysis on test failures and distinguish environment issues from application defectsDevelop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test documentation in alignment with requirementsManage test data and test environment setup to support reliable and repeatable test executionGenerate and communicate test execution reports and quality metrics to project stakeholdersParticipate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives) to ensure QA is embedded in the delivery processMentor junior QA engineers on automation best practices, coding standards, and testing strategiesContinuously evaluate new testing tools and methodologies to improve coverage and efficiencyREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS3 6 years of experience in QA automation engineering or software testingStrong proficiency in Python for test automation developmentHands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and/or Playwright for web UI automationExperience with pytest or unittest as the primary test frameworkSolid understanding of web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XPath, and CSS selectorsExperience writing and validating REST/SOAP API testsHands-on experience integrating automation suites into CI/CD pipelinesProficiency with Git for version control and collaborative developmentStrong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum delivery methodologiesExcellent analytical, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skillsStrong written and verbal communication skills with ability to clearly document test cases and defect reports
