The Opportunity
StaffRight Associates is seeking a high-impact Hands-On Data Architect to lead a critical digital evolution. This is not a high-level advisory role; we need a technical powerhouse capable of transitioning a legacy ecosystem into a sophisticated, cloud-native future. You will serve as the primary bridge between complex data structures and actionable business intelligence, driving a massive migration to Azure for a lean, high-performing team. If you thrive on building from the ground up and possess the rare ability to toggle between architectural design and deep-level coding, this is your platform to make a definitive mark.
What You’ll Do
Architect and execute a comprehensive cloud migration strategy, moving antiquated legacy systems into a modern Azure environment.
Engineer robust system integrations, serving as the technical lead for connecting disparate data sources and enterprise applications.
Synthesize raw data into a structured Medallion architecture, utilizing sophisticated patterns to clean, enrich, and stage information for advanced reporting.
Champion the implementation of Azure Fabric and OneLake, providing the expert guidance necessary to optimize these emerging technologies.
Develop high-quality code in C#/.NET 9, maintaining a boots-on-the-ground presence within the development lifecycle.
Collaborate with cross-functional business units to identify dark data, bringing it into the searchable data lake to empower organizational analytics.
Optimize data streaming pipelines from numerous databases to ensure real-time accuracy and seamless presentation in Power BI.
What You Bring
Deep Technical Roots: You began your career as a dedicated C#/.NET developer and have maintained those elite coding skills as you progressed into architecture.
Azure Mastery: Comprehensive expertise in the Azure Data Warehousing suite, specifically with Fabric, Databricks, and Azure Data Factory.
Integration Expertise: Proven success in designing and implementing complex enterprise application integrations.
Data Strategy: Extensive experience with Snowflake and the intentional enrichment of data through multi-layered architectural patterns.
Tooling Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Python for scripting, alongside professional-grade experience with Azure DevOps and GitHub.
Communication Excellence: The ability to translate complex technical jargon into real-world terms for non-technical stakeholders.
Geographic Flexibility: Ideally based in the Greater Boston area or the Eastern Time Zone, with a willingness for occasional travel to core project hubs.
