Senior UX Designer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior UX Designer in Chicago, IL.

Summary:
The Senior UX Designer will help lead the design and definition of engaging digital experiences for employees, transforming unmet user needs and business opportunities into successful employee tools. This position is responsible for contributing to the definition, communication and application of design standards for our desktop and mobile applications and for working with stakeholders and solution partners to ensure consistency with these standards throughout the portfolio.

Responsibilities:
* Identify user needs and business requirements as inputs to design
* Create sketches, prototypes, wireframes, screen-flow diagrams and UI specs for usability testing and development hand-off
* Rapidly iterate on design prototypes and working applications
* Work with researchers to plan and implement discovery and testing phases and translate any findings into design improvements
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business partners throughout the design process
* Communicate with stakeholders to review progress, articulate and advocate for design decisions and incorporate feedback appropriately
* Provide design support during development and execution; Assist with QA to ensure designs are implemented accurately
* Create visual design assets and document visual styling specifications for development team
* Contribute to defining and documenting design standards for both mobile and desktop applications
* Ensure digital touch points are consistent with the client's design and brand standards
* Work with the UX delivery lead to ensure high quality and timely deliverables
* Provide mentorship to less experienced team members

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
