Location: Plano, Texas (Hybrid)
Role Overview
The Release Coordination Delivery Lead is responsible for governing, planning, coordinating, and executing technology releases across multiple delivery teams to ensure changes are implemented safely, predictably, and in compliance with enterprise standards. This role serves as the primary point of coordination for release events, providing end-to-end visibility into release health, risk, and readiness. The position requires strong leadership, risk management, and the ability to influence outcomes across complex technology organizations.
Key Responsibilities
- Govern, plan, and coordinate technology release events.
- Ensure adherence to Enterprise Change Management and Data Management standards.
- Develop and maintain release and change dashboards for operational insights.
- Manage delivery coordination and dependencies across multiple teams.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration to support deliverable completion.
- Provide status updates on delivery, risks, and schedule to stakeholders.
- Facilitate release readiness reviews and verify completion of pre-deployment procedures.
- Coordinate post-implementation reviews and continuous improvement activities.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a Delivery Lead in a Change and Release Support role.
- Experience evaluating release readiness, operational risk, system dependencies, and rollback strategies.
- Ability to escalate release conflicts, critical risks, and production stability concerns to leadership.
- Background in Release and Change Management with hands-on experience with Remedy or ServiceNow.
- Background in Work Management with Jira or Azure DevOps experience.
- Background in documentation with Confluence or SharePoint.
- Background in reporting with Tableau, Starburst, or MS Excel.
- Background in delivery and deployment supporting CI/CD toolchains such as GitHub, Ansible Tower, or Cutover.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 to 3 years of experience with a major financial institution.
- 2 to 3 years of specific Change and Release management experience.
