Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Level 3 Network Engineer with deep expertise in Aruba Wireless technologies to support and optimize enterprise-grade wireless environments. This role will act as the highest escalation point for wireless issues, drive design and optimization efforts, and ensure high availability, security, and performance across complex, multi-site networks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the Level 3 escalation point for all Aruba wireless network-related issues.
• Design, implement, configure, and maintain Aruba wireless solutions, including:
• Aruba Mobility Controllers (MMC/MDC)
• Aruba Access Points (APs & IAPs)
• Aruba ClearPass Policy Manager
• Aruba AirWave and/or Aruba Central
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex wireless and RF-related issues.
• Optimize WLAN performance through RF analysis, channel planning, and capacity planning.
• Conduct and analyze wireless site surveys and heatmaps using Ekahau or similar tools.
• Monitor, manage, and optimize wireless infrastructure using Aruba management platforms.
• Ensure seamless integration between wireless, wired, and security systems.
• Collaborate with network architects and stakeholders on scalable, secure wireless designs.
• Support firmware upgrades, patches, and configuration changes following change management procedures.
• Enforce wireless security standards and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
• Maintain accurate documentation including network diagrams, configurations, and SOPs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of enterprise network engineering experience with a strong focus on wireless networking.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Aruba Networks solutions, including:
• Aruba Mobility Controllers
• Aruba Access Points (APs/IAPs)
• Aruba ClearPass
• Aruba AirWave and/or Aruba Central
• Strong understanding of wireless standards and RF fundamentals:
• 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax
• WLAN security (WPA2, WPA3, 802.1X)
• Experience performing and interpreting wireless site surveys (Ekahau preferred).
• Solid knowledge of networking fundamentals:
• VLANs, routing, switching
• DHCP, DNS, RADIUS
• Firewalls and network security
• Proficiency in troubleshooting using CLI, Wireshark, Aruba logs, and packet analysis tools.
• Experience supporting large-scale, multi-site enterprise environments.
