About the Opportunity
Kforce is seeking an experienced Lead Project Manager to support a large-scale, greenfield customer technology and customer information system transformation for a regulated energy and utilities organization. The program is modernizing customer service and clean-energy program capabilities, replacing legacy Salesforce environments, preserving required business logic, and reducing technical debt through a clean future-state architecture. The core technology landscape includes Salesforce Energy & Utilities Cloud, Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Data Cloud, OmniStudio including OmniScript, the Salesforce Clean Energy Module, SAP BTP integrations, customer-facing APIs, data migration, security and privacy, quality engineering, and enterprise release management.
Role Overview
The Lead Project Manager owns integrated delivery governance, planning, execution, financial and resource coordination, executive reporting, and cross-workstream alignment for the transformation. The role coordinates Salesforce, OmniStudio, Clean Energy Module, SAP BTP, customer API, data migration, security, change, testing, release, and environment workstreams.
Key Responsibilities
1. Establish the integrated delivery operating model and align project managers and workstream leads to one plan, cadence, and governance structure.
2. Develop and maintain milestones, dependencies, critical path, resource forecasts, financial tracking, delivery commitments, and executive reporting.
3. Coordinate Energy & Utilities Cloud, OmniStudio and OmniScript, Clean Energy Module, Data Cloud, SAP BTP, customer API, data migration, security, QA, change, and release workstreams.
4. Own governance, RAID, decisions, scope, change control, quality, dependency management, and escalations.
5. Facilitate steering, delivery, planning, dependency, readiness, cutover, and executive-review sessions.
6. Track deliverables, capacity, budget, schedule, quality, defects, environments, readiness, and outcomes across onshore and offshore teams.
7. Lead planning for test cycles, mock migrations, release readiness, cutover, hypercare, and transition to support.
8. Ensure issues are surfaced early, ownership and dates are clear, and decisions are documented and communicated.
9. Use client-provided or client-approved AI acceleration tools when appropriate for analysis, requirements, design, development, documentation, testing, and defect resolution. Independently validate all AI-generated outputs for accuracy, security, maintainability, privacy, and compliance.
Required Qualifications
1. 12+ years of enterprise project or program management experience, including principal-level leadership of large, complex technology or business transformation programs.
2. Strong experience with Agile and hybrid delivery, integrated planning, dependencies, RAID, scope, financials, quality, environments, releases, cutover, hypercare, and measurable delivery commitments.
3. Demonstrated ability to coordinate complex onshore and offshore teams, multiple vendors or delivery organizations, and interdependent business and technical workstreams.
4. Strong executive communication, facilitation, negotiation, decision management, escalation, and concise status reporting.
5. Experience establishing delivery governance, managing critical-path dependencies, surfacing risks early, and driving accountable decisions and outcomes.
6. Experience using enterprise planning and collaboration tools and maintaining clear, audit-ready delivery records.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Salesforce, CRM, CIS, or other large enterprise platform transformation experience.
2. Utility, regulated-industry, customer information system, or clean-energy program experience.
3. PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum, SAFe, or comparable delivery credentials; greenfield implementation and legacy-system retirement experience are also valued.
