• Skills: Guidewire Edge Portal Gosu JavaScript Angular React REST APIs Cloud
• Role Summary: The Guidewire Portal Developer is responsible for designing developing and implementing customer facing digital portals for Policy Billing and Claims using Guidewire Digital EDGE framework including Jutro Guidewire Portal UI React Angular and RESTful integrations
• The role involves working closely with business analysts architects backend PolicyCenterBillingCenterClaimCenter teams and QA to deliver seamless omnichannel experiences

 

Key Responsibilities:

Portal Development Customization

• Develop and customize Guidewire Digital Portal ProducerEngage CustomerEngage VendorEngage etc
• Build UI components using
• JutroEDGE framework
• Reactjs or Angular
• HTML5 CSS3 JavaScriptTypeScript
• Implement business logic using Gosu Java and API integration layers

 

Integration

• Integrate Guidewire Portals with
• PolicyCenter
• BillingCenter
• External services and thirdparty APIs
• Build and consume REST APIs  JSON services

 

Architecture  Framework

• Work with solution architects to design scalable portal architecture
• Customize Guidewire Digital UX templates and UI themes
• Ensure adherence to Guidewire best practices and coding standards

 

Testing  Quality

• Troubleshoot performance issues in portal UI  API calls

 

Collaboration

• Work closely with businessproduct teams for requirement translation
• Collaborate with backend Guidewire developers for PCBCCC logic
• Work with DevOps to support CICD pipelines Technical Skills Required Guidewire Skills
• Guidewire Digital Portal CustomerEngage  ProducerEngage  VendorEngage

 

EdgePortal Framework

• Jutro preferred for newer Guidewire versions
• Experience with PolicyCenterBillingCenterClaimCenter integration
• Gosu language knowledge good to have

 

Frontend Skills

• Reactjs or Angular
• JavaScript  TypeScript
• HTML5  CSS3
• Responsive design frameworks Bootstrap Material UI Backend  Integration
• REST API development  integration

Education / Certifications:

• Guidewire Certification in Digital Portal - Jutro preferred
• UIFrontend certifications React Angular are added advantage
