Oracle BPM / ADF Developer

We are seeking to hire a Oracle BPM / ADF Developer to join our team working on a multi-year award we have within a large Federal Gov’t agency in the Washington, DC area.  This role is remote.

Must be US Cit to qualify for passing the Public Trust Security clearance for working at this particular Federal Gov’t Agency.

This position pays a strong salary package with full benefits (including choice of healthcare plans, dental, vision, life insurance, 3 weeks PTO, 11 Paid Federal Holidays, and a matching 401k).

An option for working on an hourly rate is also available for those not needing a full benefits package.

Technical Skills:

·        Oracle ADF         7+ years

·        Oracle Business Management Process   7+ years

·        Oracle Business Process Execution Language (BPEL) Process Manager    7+ years

Role Description:

·        The role includes troubleshooting and resolving production issues, applying patches, supporting releases, and implementing approved enhancements in a structured Operations & Support environment. The developer will collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and infrastructure teams while working within an ITSM-driven support model.

·        This hands-on position requires strong expertise in Oracle ADF and Oracle BPM, the ability to manage both production support and development activities, and a commitment to delivering reliable, high-quality application support and continuous improvement.

·        Modify moderately complex software based upon software specifications and designs as directed by supervisory and senior functional and technical personnel.

·        Use sound software engineering principles to develop and test incremental code that is modifiable, efficient, reliable, and understandable. 

·        Provide support of application management tasks for a functional area.

·        Analytical Thinking & Problem Solving — Ability to quickly diagnose production issues, identify root causes, and implement effective, low-risk solutions within a support environment. Analytical Thinking & Problem Solving

·        Technical Depth — Maintains up-to-date, working knowledge of Oracle ADF, BPM, and FMW technologies; capable of operating independently with minimal guidance.

·        Communication & Stakeholder Engagement — Clearly communicates technical concepts, issue status, and resolution plans to both technical peers and non-technical business stakeholders.

·        Attention to Detail — Applies rigor when implementing bug fixes and patches to ensure changes do not introduce regressions or destabilize the application.

·        Adaptability — Comfortable pivoting between reactive support tasks (incidents, patches) and proactive development work (enhancements, improvements) based on shifting priorities.

·        Collaboration — Works effectively within cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA, infrastructure, and project management.

·        Accountability & Ownership — Takes personal responsibility for the quality and timely delivery of assigned work items within agreed SLA windows.

·        Continuous Improvement Mindset — Proactively identifies opportunities to improve application performance, code quality, and support processes.
