Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead a key technology initiative for Strategic Education Inc. The primary responsibility will be managing the migration from the Regent Financial Aid system to Oracle Student Financial Planning (SFP).

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on technology project manager with strong leadership capabilities, able to drive delivery across cross-functional teams and ensure successful implementation of enterprise systems.

This role will collaborate with the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO), though prior EPMO experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Oracle Student Financial Planning (SFP) implementation and migration from Regent Financial Aid
  Manage the full project lifecycle including planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery
  Coordinate cross-functional teams across IT, business stakeholders, and external vendors
  Manage project schedules, resources, budgets, risks, and dependencies
  Facilitate communication between technology teams, business units, and leadership
  Provide status updates and reporting to executive stakeholders and leadership teams
  Identify and resolve project risks, issues, and delivery roadblocks
  Ensure project delivery aligns with business goals, timelines, and quality standards

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of Project Management experience delivering complex technology projects
  Experience managing enterprise system implementations or migrations
  Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills in matrix organizations
  Experience managing Agile and/or Waterfall delivery models
  Strong understanding of technology projects and SDLC processes
  Hands-on experience with Microsoft Project or similar project management tools
  Strong communication and executive presentation skills

Preferred Experience

• Experience with Oracle platforms or Oracle Student Financial Planning (SFP)
  Experience with Financial Aid systems or Higher Education technology environments
  Experience managing ERP or student information system implementations
  Experience with PeopleSoft, Salesforce, or similar enterprise platforms
  PMP or CSM certification preferred

Education

Bachelor s degree required; Master s degree preferred.
