Job Summary:
The Dynamics 365 PMA Consultant acts as a subject matter expert to analyze client business processes, handle systems architecture for project management, and enforce financial governance. The primary goal is to ensure project operations seamlessly integrate with the core General Ledger, Supply Chain, and Billing frameworks to maximize business profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Design: Lead client discovery workshops to analyze operational needs, evaluate system gaps, and build the functional design for the projects workstream.
System Configuration: End-to-end configuration of the PMA module, covering, Project Contracts, billing rules, and ledger posting mappings.
Financial Management Setup: Configure multiple project types (Time & Material, Fixed-Price, Internal) along with complex settings like percentage-of-completion.
Operational Control: Structure Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), resource management matrixes, timesheet validation workflows, and multi-currency billing paths.
Cross-Module Integration: Connect the PMA framework flawlessly with D365 Finance, Human Resources, Sales, and Supply Chain modules.
Testing & Training: Build testing scenarios, manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with key business leads, and run user training sessions.
Required Technical Skills:
