Senior UX Designer - Rapid Experimentation

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in San Francisco, CA that is seeking a Senior UX Designer to join our Rapid Experimentation Team.

Overview:
This Rapid Experiment team is unique, in that they are constantly and quickly iterating features on the website, ultimately to see what changes may drive business value and conversion on the website. This is a hands-on role with rapid iterations of designs to optimize our Ecommerce site experience and drive big business impacts. The candidate will work alongside another UX Designer as well as work closely with a team of data analysts and bring a strong UX POV to the table.

The Rapid Experimentation program is all about identifying friction points in the ecommerce experience (site entry, product page, product finding, search, checkout, etc.) and producing solutions/tests to run to optimize each aspect of the funnel. This comes down to -rapid UX discovery- (coming up with a point of view on a feature, looking at analytics, competitive audit, research, proof points, session replays, etc.) and turning multiple designs around quickly to test. A candidate for this role must be able to deliver effective interaction design solutions in fast-paced environment, have strong presentation and communication skills, with thick skin, able to iterate and move on as needed or if a test/design fails.

This role is different than a -classic- UX design role, as they do not follow the -normal- process of conducting customer interviews, doing usability testing, etc. They will create journey maps, wireframes, UI, specifications, audits, heuristic evaluations, taxonomy recommendations, task flows, and prototypes. The Senior UX Designer will use a deep knowledge of design principles and human behavior to design exceptional frictionless experiences.

REQUIREMENTS:
* 6+ years of experience in interactive design and user experience
* 3-5 years within the Ecommerce domain, experience around site optimization and high transaction websites for features like product lists, product page, checkout, etc.
* Deep understanding of what drives Ecommerce KPIs
* Strong visual and interaction design, with deep proficiency in Figma
* Experience designing for experimentation, CRO, or KPI-driven product teams
* Passion for site optimization and experimentation
* Ability to rapidly produce multiple design solutions for experiments
* Comprehensive understanding of UX principles and best practices; able to bring a strong UX POV to the table
* Strategic thinker and ability deliver tactically
* Proven record of impactful optimization improvements
* Strong organizational skills to manage fast-paced schedule and project work
* Able to contribute to a strategic vision for Ecommerce improvements
* Excellent communicator and presenter

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
