Genesis10 is currently seeking a Business Reporting Lead for a hybrid contract to hire position with a Regional Financial Institution located in Columbus OH, Minnetonka MN, Dallas/Houston Texas, Birmingham AL, Atlanta GA and will be working on-site 4 days a week.
Pay Range: $60.00-75.00 We are seeking an experienced Business Reporting Manager to join the Business Management Office ( "BMO ") within the Office of the CIO. This role is a working manager position, directly contributing to report definition and output while leading, coaching, and developing the team. The ideal candidate will reinforce the existing team with both leadership and delivery of existing and routine deliverables while also looking for efficiency gains to scale processes and reporting.
Responsibilities: - Lead and manage business operations data, reporting, and analysis efforts for Technology
- Play a central role in helping to define and create meaningful executive reporting
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to review and create new report requests and enhancements to existing reports
- Translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications
- Facilitate meetings, presentations, and updates for senior management and other key stakeholders
- Directly lead, coach, and mentor BMO analysts and reporting resources
- Own and support budget reporting, staffing reporting, workforce reporting, operational reporting, and spend reporting
- Drive reporting automation initiatives to eliminate manual, spreadsheet-based processes
- Understand and maintain knowledge of the reporting architecture across various tools and identify scalability and efficiency improvements
Requirements: - Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within the banking or financial services sector
- Strong familiarity with FP&A, forecasting, and budgeting
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written, with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong data analysis and report creation skills; able to synthesize data into key messages
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop analysts; experience as a working manager who remains a hands-on contributor
- Tableau and Power BI experience required; hands-on practitioner who can personally build reports and dashboards
- Experience with AWS Athena and SQL
- Critical thinker with strong organizational skills and detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy
Desired skills: - Experience with Python for reporting automation and data processing
- Familiarity with SharePoint, Power Apps, and Power Automate
- Knowledge of, and experience with, CIO level reporting needs
