Job Title: Project Manager (Vendor Led Delivery)

Location: Remote 

Duration: 6 Months + strong possibility of extension

 

Role Context
  • This role leads delivery execution for the Comprehensive Field Communication Plan (CFCP), a multiphase, vendor led initiative delivering a data driven, multichannel field communication capability.‑phase, vendor‑led initiative delivering a data‑driven, multi‑channel field communication capability.
  • Execution is performed primarily by external vendors and contract resources, in close coordination with internal Client Experience, Data, and Technology teams.
Role Objective:

  • The emphasis of this role is vendor leadership, program control, and execution discipline.
Key Responsibilities
External Vendor Leadership
  • Serve as the primary delivery owner for external vendors and contract resources
  • Translate project objectives into executable vendor plans, milestones, and deliverables
  • Actively manage vendor performance, risks, and interdependencies
  • Own Statement of Work (SOW) governance, including deliverables, assumptions, and exclusions
  • Identify scope changes early and manage them through a formal change order process
  • Ensure business stakeholders approve scope, timeline, and cost changes before execution
Cross‑Functional Coordination
  • Coordinate vendor work with internal Client Experience, Data, and Technology teams
  • Sequence dependencies so data readiness, platform configuration, and campaign execution remain aligned
  • Facilitate decision-making when tradeoffs, prioritization, or escalation is required‑making when tradeoffs, prioritization, or escalation is required
Program Control & Delivery Governance
  • Own the consolidated master schedule across all vendors and internal dependencies, including critical path management, sequencing, and timeline re‑baselining when required
  • Maintain full visibility into program financials, including budget tracking, contingency usage, forecast‑to‑complete, and executive‑level cost reporting
  • Define and enforce formal phase‑exit criteria across onboarding, data preparation, and campaign build phases, including documented acceptance standards and stakeholder sign‑off prior to progression
  • Maintain and actively manage a structured RAID log (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies), with clear mitigation actions, accountable owners, and defined escalation paths
  • Lead go‑live planning and stabilization governance, including hypercare oversight and formal transition to steady‑state operations
Delivery Visibility & Risk Management
  • Run clear, outcome‑focused status, financial, and risk reviews
  • Surface delivery risks early with recommended mitigation options
  • Maintain momentum without over‑engineering process or ceremonies
Must‑Have Qualifications
Candidates must demonstrate strong external vendor management experience, including:
  • Proven delivery leadership on vendor‑led enterprise initiatives
  • Hands‑on experience enforcing statements of work and vendor deliverables
  • Track record managing change orders, scope control, and financial governance
  • Ability to operate independently in environments with multiple stakeholders
  • Comfort coordinating across business, data, and technology teams
  • Clear examples of driving execution, not facilitating meetings
Nice‑to‑Have Qualifications (Strongly Preferred)
These are important differentiators and should be actively prioritized, not treated as optional:
  • Experience delivering initiatives involving Salesforce (Marketing Cloud / Client Experience Cloud)SnowflakeGenesys, or similar enterprise platforms
  • Experience delivering multi‑channel communication programs (email, messaging, voice, surveys)
  • Experience working with large systems integrators or external implementation partners
