Location: Richmond, VA (Hybrid: 1 week onsite / 1 week remote) 
Type: W2, 12-month Contract with potential extension or conversion 
Compensation: $60/hr + optional medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) 

Overview 

Seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to drive AI innovation through research, proof-of-value development, and enterprise AI solution delivery. This role requires hands-on experience building and deploying Generative AI applications, strong full-stack development skills, and expertise in cloud-hosted environments. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Design, develop, and deploy Generative AI solutions to solve complex business challenges. 

• Evaluate emerging AI technologies, tools, and architectures from a technical and business perspective. 

• Build scalable AI applications leveraging LLMs, RAG frameworks, and cloud-native services. 

• Collaborate with architects, developers, and business stakeholders to integrate AI capabilities into enterprise systems. 

• Ensure security, performance, and reliability through DevSecOps and software engineering best practices. 

• Mentor junior developers and contribute to AI strategy and innovation initiatives. 

Required Qualifications 

• 7+ years of software development and systems analysis experience. 

• 3+ years developing AI/ML or Generative AI applications. 

• Full-stack development experience with Python, React (Angular accepted), SQL, and NoSQL databases. 

• Experience with LLMs, RAG architectures, model fine-tuning, and cloud deployment. 

• Strong experience hosting applications in Azure (preferred), AWS, or GCP. 

• Experience with DevOps/DevSecOps and Agile/Scrum environments. 

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills. 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience with Agentic AI. 

• Microsoft ecosystem experience, including Azure OpenAI and Power Platform. 

• .NET experience is a plus, but not required. 

• Background supporting large-scale enterprise, AI, or data center environments. 

• Local Richmond, VA candidates strongly preferred. 

Education 

Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Business, or a related field.
