Schedule: MON- FRI / 40 Hours
Seeking a highly motivated, experienced IT Project Manager who will lead the project team in alignment with the department and divisional objectives. Their primary role is to help delivery teams work more effectively with a focus on continuous improvement, the PM will work closely with the Product Owners and Project delivery teams, leading Agile practices related to customer-facing digital products.
Manage one or more medium- to large-sized, moderately to highly complex projects.
Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, adhere to high quality standards, and meet customer expectations.
Assemble project plans and team work assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts, identifying resource needs, performing quality reviews, and escalating functional, quality, and timeline issues appropriately.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Project Management for assigned projects and enhancements to new or existing systems, following SDLC methodology (Agile and Waterfall) and deliverables:
Manage the project plan, staff tasks and progress, and report status
Track dependencies and manage risks and issues
Handle project communication to business and IT stakeholders
Review, refine, and validate complex business requirements and combine them into a clear, prioritized backlog
Review Technical Design with Solution Architects and Tech Leads
Ensure quality by working with the QA team on test planning and execution
Coordinate, schedule, and chair meetings with multiple stakeholders, and distribute meeting minutes
Create presentation and communication materials relevant to a variety of stakeholders, including business
Manage release and post-launch activities end to end, and support Production Systems as needed
Examine and drive team performance, and ensure accurate, timely feedback to the team and transparency to the Product Owner and executive stakeholders
Support and empower the Consumer Applications delivery teams and/or Product Owners to make appropriate commitments through story task definition
Challenge the team to continuously improve through intentional, data-driven inspection and adaptation (retrospectives)
Help teams maintain their team data and collateral, keeping it relevant over time as business needs change
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
5+ years of experience as a Project Manager who has worked with Customer-Facing website/Consumer Applications and/or Digital platforms (Commerce, Sales, Website, Platform, SaaS, Website compliance)
Experience managing project plans, staff/schedules, report, deliverables and budgets.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional communication with IT, Associates, consultants, and vendors to define product goals, backlogs, and roadmaps leading to successful delivery.
Clear communication skills and the ability to communicate and negotiate with stakeholders
Strong familiarity with Waterfall and AGILE delivery models
Technical background to clearly understand complex business requirements and the benefits of assigned projects
Ability to perform the role of Scrum Master
Strong PowerPoint skills, with the ability to present to executive leadership
Experience using Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, MS Project and Jira
Familiarity with Jira/Confluence for managing project artifacts and user stories
Education: Bachelor s degree or requisite experience, training, or course work in Agile development, innovation, and process management.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience delivering consumer-facing websites or digital platforms that involve complex data, transactions, or integrations
Automotive industry background
Familiarity with Clarity for project management and financial management
