HX5 is currently seeking a Systems Engineer to join our team at Eglin AFB in Niceville, Florida.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Support systems engineering activities across all phases of the DoD acquisition lifecycle (Material Solutions Analysis through Operations & Support)
- Support requirements development, analysis, traceability, and verification.
- Conduct system design, integration, and technical analysis activities.
- Develop and review technical documentation, including specifications, interface documents, and engineering reports.
- Support technical reviews (e.g., SRR, PDR, CDR) and program milestone activities.
- Collaborate with program management, logistics, test, and cybersecurity teams to ensure integrated system performance.
- Analyze system performance and recommend design or process improvements.
- Support risk identification, analysis, and mitigation planning.
- Provide technical input to acquisition documentation and program decision-making.
Education and Experience:Must have one of the following combiniations of education and experience:
- Undergraduate engineering degree from ABET-accredited institution.
- Bachelor's degree and twenty (20) years of professional experience
- Or Master's degree and fifteen (15) years of professional experience
- OR Ph.D. and five (5) years of professional experience
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:- This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week and offers a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday during core business hours.
Other Position Requirements:- Proof of U.S. Citizenship is a requirement for this position.
- Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance by date of hire.
