Job Overview:

Pay Range: $32.00hr - $35.00hr

Requirement/Must Have:

• Bachelor s degree, or equivalent combination of recent, relevant work experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Product Suites (Word, Excel, and Visio).
• 3-5+ years working in a Business Analyst/System Testing position.
• Experience defining business problems, gathering and documenting requirements, determining business solutions, and verifying solutions meet requirements.
• Strong understanding of SDLC methodology.
• Ability to handle extreme workloads with general direction.
• Relationship management and facilitation skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient problem-solving skills.
• Strong decision-making ability.
• Must be adaptable to change in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be detail-oriented.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently and in conjunction with team members.
• Maintaining confidentiality and exercising discretion is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Writing test plans and testing critical eligibility applications.
• Participating in JAD discussions and reviewing design documents to understand the testing requirements.
• Working with Business Analysts as well as System Vendor staff to ensure thorough testing of system changes and functionality.
• Testing for new Local Agency Portal and Vendor Management System mainly centering around the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC).
• Documenting defects and collaborating with a team to ensure fixes have been applied correctly.
• Completing smoke testing and providing support after major production releases.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in Microsoft products, Team Foundation Server (TFS), and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Knowledge of public health policies or eligibility policy background.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• 3+ years of experience in Healthcare.
• 1+ years of experience with Salesforce.
• 1+ years of experience with SQL.
