TCI has an immediate need for an
IT Document Administrator in Louisville, KY or DC. This is a 12-month contract opportunity (not available for C2C).
Note: This position requires ship or Permanent Residence. Work is performed on-site 4 days per week and work-from-home 1 day per week.
SUMMARY The IT Document Administrator will be part of the Document Products team and is primarily responsible for the day-to-day administration, support, resolution of issues, and update of the firm's document platforms, including NetDocuments and file transfer applications.
The role is also responsible for delivering day-to-day document governance and access management activities to support compliance with client requirements, firm policies, and regulatory obligations.
The successful candidate will act as a trusted link between business and technical teams, bringing strong operational judgement, clear communication, and a practical approach to delivering secure, user-focused, and business-aligned outcomes.
RESPONSIBILITIES - Knowledgeable resource for NetDocuments and related document management applications, providing day-to-day functional support, guidance, and issue resolution to stakeholders.
- Support document governance and access management processes in line with client requirements, firm policies, and regulatory obligations.
- Run ad hoc reports for NetDocuments and related document applications to support governance, compliance, and operational oversight.
- Create and manage NetDocuments security groups and other access controls to restrict and govern access to document content appropriately.
- Monitor service performance, user feedback, and operational trends to support service stability, identify issues, and implement practical improvements.
- Manage the day-to-day administration, maintenance, support, and routine change activity for NetDocuments and related applications.
- Build, maintain, and prioritize a backlog that reflects BAU support needs, defects, and work items raised through ServiceNow.
- Carry out hands-on application administration and configuration activities for NetDocuments and associated platforms as part of day-to-day operational support.
- Apply strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify issues, evaluate options, and recommend practical, business-aligned solutions.
REQUIREMENTS - 5+ years of experience in information technology, platform support, and document management.
- Experience in a large enterprise or professional services environment (like a law or financial firm) is required.
- Experience administering, configuring, and supporting document platforms (NetDocuments and/or iManage or SharePoint) and secure file transfer solutions.
- Experience supporting the day-to-day operation of business-critical platforms, including incidents, routine changes, user support, and service administration.
- Experience with PowerShell and/or SQL scripting.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify errors, inconsistencies, and gaps in processes, data, and documentation.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with competing operational priorities and changing demands.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical teams, business stakeholders, and end users.
- Able to work effectively with a broad range of colleagues across teams, functions, and locations.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to explain issues and solutions clearly and in practical terms.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft productivity tools, including intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
