Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Power Platform Developer

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Power Platform Developer to join an enterprise application development team. This individual will design, develop, customize, and support business applications utilizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Microsoft Power Platform.

The ideal candidate will have a strong development background and be comfortable working across both low-code and traditional development technologies. This position requires someone who can work independently, collaborate with technical and business stakeholders, and translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, customize, and support solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Develop applications and automation utilizing Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
• Extend Dynamics 365 functionality through C#/.NET development, plugins, custom workflows, and APIs.
• Configure and customize Dynamics 365 entities/tables, forms, views, business rules, security roles, and processes.
• Develop client-side functionality utilizing JavaScript and related web technologies.
• Build and maintain integrations between Dynamics 365 and other enterprise applications.
• Participate in data integration, migration, and synchronization activities.
• Develop reusable components and custom functionality within the Power Platform ecosystem.
• Participate throughout the application lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Work with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Support application lifecycle management and deployments across development, testing, and production environments.
• Create and maintain appropriate technical documentation.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional application development experience.
• Hands-on development experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Experience with at least one Dynamics 365 application/module, such as Sales, Customer Service, Marketing/Customer Insights, or a comparable CRM application.
• Strong hands-on experience with the Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Development experience with C# and .NET.
• Experience customizing and extending Dynamics 365 beyond out-of-the-box configuration.
• Experience with JavaScript, REST APIs, web services, or custom integrations.
• Strong understanding of Dataverse and Dynamics 365 data structures.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot technical issues and deliver solutions in an enterprise environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing PCF (Power Apps Component Framework) components.
• Experience with Power Pages, Power BI, or Copilot Studio.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure services and cloud-based integrations.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, SSIS, KingswaySoft, or similar integration/data migration technologies.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and application lifecycle management (ALM).
• Experience working within Agile development teams.
