Job Description

We are looking for an experienced MDM Solution Architect with strong expertise in Informatica MDM SaaS, Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) Platform, and Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS). The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining, designing, and driving Master Data Management (MDM) solution architectures that align with enterprise strategy, meet business requirements, and ensure technical excellence across implementation and operations. 

Key Deliverables 

1. Solution Architecture bridging IT and business: 
a. Understand how the current AS-IS MDM applications are designed/implemented and how they fulfil end-to-end requirements 
b. Gather functional and non-functional requirements, including information security requirements, from stakeholders and document them 
c. Capture and transform business requirements into architectural solution requirements 
d. Design and detail MDM solution architecture and present solutions to stakeholders 
e. Align with IT security directives and fulfil customer demands for information security 
f. Ensure that MDM architecture, including new and existing technologies, meets enterprise standards 
g. Resolve complex or ambiguous IT / MDM solution architecture issues in collaboration with Enterprise Architecture (EA) and other stakeholders 
h. Support business and IT stakeholders with technical expertise and overall MDM knowledge 
i. Support the MDM solution selection process 

2. Ensure technical superiority of the MDM solution: 
a. Design, implement, and detail the MDM solution architecture 
b. Deliver an architecture in accordance with the EA framework that: 
i. Aligns with Group target architecture 
ii. Meets Group architectural principles 
iii. Complies with enterprise strategies and policies 
iv. Supports process & solution roadmaps 
c. Create architectural descriptions, including rationale for decisions and considerations 
d. Suggest alternative solutions and highlight deficiencies related to quality requirements 
e. Identify technical and security risks and propose mitigation actions 
f. Explain and communicate architectural decisions to stakeholders 
g. Suggest infrastructure solutions that support the MDM architecture and performance requirements 
h. Manage and oversee the technical quality aspects of the chosen MDM solution at all stages 

3. Leverage MDM COTS (Commercial Off-The-Shelf) Solutions & SI (System Integrator) Relationship: 
a. Act as the interface towards internal and global external partners during all development phases 
b. Own the overall Master & Reference Data Architecture, ensuring a strategic view while enabling MVP (Minimum Viable Product) implementation 
c. Ensure the designed solution supports business policies, strategies, and stakeholder needs 
d. Manage and oversee the technical quality aspects of the chosen MDM solution at all stages 

Key Expectations 

5. Support the DS&IT management team in creation & implementation of MDM Strategy & Vision 
6. Create and maintain relevant architectural artifacts (e.g., solution landscape, service interaction models) 
7. Collaborate with enterprise architects to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture strategy and target state 
8. Actively guide, coach, and support stakeholders (internal & external) to secure successful delivery of MDM solutions 
9. Bring clarity to ambiguous situations and ensure tangible solutions to solve business problems 
10. Demonstrate passion for improvement and innovation, with a willingness to learn and adopt new technologies 
11. Think outside the box — innovate new solutions, solve real business problems, and redefine how MDM is used within the organization 
12. Ability to multi-task and manage time pressures effectively 
13. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment 
14. Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across stakeholders, gather information, and build consensus 

Qualifications 

15. Minimum 10+ years of experience in Enterprise Architecture and IT Architecture roles 
16. Proven experience in IT and business domains (preferably Automotive industry) with leadership of MDM programs across full System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) as an MDM Solution Expert 
17. Strong hands-on experience with Informatica MDM SaaS, Informatica IDMC Platform, and IICS 
18. Strong understanding of master data concepts, processes, and tools, including data modeling, profiling, quality assessment, integration, and data governance 
19. Preferable experience leading MDM programs across full SDLC as a Solution Architect with multi-domain MDM platforms such as Tibco MDM, IBM MDM, etc. (Primarily Informatica MDM) 
20. Preferable experience in designing and detailing IT solution architectures using core AWS or Azure cloud services 
21. Strong experience in requirement management, business communication, and stakeholder management 
22. Experience working in agile, fast-paced, and dynamic environments with challenging and time-sensitive stakeholder requirements 
23. Highly skilled in coordination, planning, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration 
24. Strong strategic thinking and planning, problem-solving ability, and performance-driven mindset
